The agreements we make before, during and after the booking.
From request to payment
Seven cues, in running order.
-
You get in touch
Sooner rather than later — some periods fill up well in advance. Tell me which date(s) to check for you, at which venue and in which role.
-
We line it up
I check your request against my actual schedule and get back to you with availability and a rate.
-
We confirm
As soon as you approve the quote, I block the days in my diary and send you an official confirmation. From that moment the cancellation terms apply too.
-
The callsheet
You send me the exact schedule: start time and (estimated) end time, the venue and the parking situation. Preferably well in advance.
-
To work
With a clear callsheet in my pocket I arrive on the day — always with some margin, in good spirits and ready for the job. Don't forget to tell me which tools to bring: they don't travel along by default.
-
After the party
I compare the quote with the hours actually worked and draw up the invoice on that basis, with your project number on it. You usually receive it within the week. Please pay within 30 days — or get in touch within the week if something doesn't add up; we'll sort it out together.
-
Payment received
All done! It was a pleasure working together — hopefully until next time, when we'll make it a party again.
Booking details
- A reservation is not binding: I can cancel it at any time — always in consultation with you.
- Long-running and complete productions (load-in, show and load-out) always get priority.
- Callsheet, start time and venue reach me by 8 pm the day before the job at the latest. Otherwise the job automatically counts as cancelled, with the corresponding fees.
What I need to do my job
Enough to drink — water and coffee as a minimum; soft drinks or anything else are always appreciated.
The right meals for the working hours: breakfast, lunch, dinner or a midnight snack. Not possible or not provided? Then a surcharge applies (see the rates).
A safe workplace where everyone wears the right PPE and no bystanders wander around.
Clear communication from a crew chief or project manager.
Respect and appreciation — barking orders and rushing people doesn't work.
A few pleasant colleagues, because laughter is at the heart of life.

The small print
- The minimum charge is always a day rate — and a day is 10 hours.
- A project price is always up for discussion: mention it in your request.
- You have 7 days after the invoice date to dispute an invoice.
- I hope to have received your payment 30 days after the invoice date.
A question about a rule or a rate? Just ask — and book early.
